Gerilyn M. Alfe, DMD, PC, FACE, earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, graduating magna cum laude, from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Alfe is a strong believer in continuing education and has completed numerous courses on subjects ranging from anxiety reduction dentistry to permanent/removable orthodontics. She has been a clinical instructor at both Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and PAC~live. Since 2000 she has been instructing with The Hornbrook Group where she teaches other dentists how to perform smile designs and full mouth rehabilitations in a live patient program. She is a recognized author and frequent lecturer on topics such as cosmetic dentistry, treatment planning, bonding and Tekscan analysis. Dr. Alfe is a Fellow of and sits on the Board of Directors for the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics and is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society.
