James H. Arnold, DDS, FACE, is an experienced, talented cosmetic dentist with a passion for creating beautiful, bright smiles. Using a digital camera and cosmetic imaging, Dr. Arnold is able to create virtual makeover presentations that patients can view before undergoing aesthetic procedures. Another of Dr. Arnold's advanced instruments is the Waterlase dental laser, which he uses to perform a variety of procedures, including decay removal and root canal therapy. The Waterlase laser provides more accuracy than a traditional dental drill and reduces discomfort considerably; as a result, most procedures performed with this instrument do not require anesthesia.
To correct certain dental imperfections, Dr. Arnold offers porcelain veneers, dental implants, all-porcelain onlays and crowns, aesthetic bridges and tooth-colored fillings. Patients can also enhance the beauty of their smiles through one-hour Zoom! teeth whitening. In addition, Dr. Arnold provides preventive dental health services such as oral hygiene exams, laser-assisted cavity detection, periodontal therapy and patient education DVDs. James H. Arnold, DDS, FACE, graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, where he earned the American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence and the Indiana Dental Association Award for Leadership. Dr. Arnold continued his education at numerous post-graduate dental institutions, including the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies; the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum in San Francisco, California; the Esthetic Epitome in Charlotte, North Carolina; the Hornbrook Group in Los Angeles, California and Houston, Texas; the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington; the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida; and the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, Florida. He has also been trained in laser dentistry through the World Clinical Laser Institute. As one of the founders of the World Institute for Dental Education, Dr. Arnold has taught advanced dental techniques in several other countries. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Crown Council, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
