Coleman Dental Associates is home to some of the latest dental technologies. It is one of the few facilities in the nation to have an on-site dental laboratory. Staffed by two full-time technicians, this laboratory provides patients with hand-crafted porcelain crowns and veneers that are custom made to maximize dental functionality and beauty. Scott Coleman, DDS, FAGD, MAGD, FADFE, received his Bachelor of Science degree, graduating cum laude, from Stephen F. Austin State University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas at Houston, where he graduated first in his class. Over the course of his career, Dr. Coleman has received numerous awards, including the Walter G. Sterling Award for academic excellence at the University of Texas at Houston, the A.O. Beck Award for outstanding prosthodontics and the Professional Award from the American College of Dentists. He is an adjunct professor of dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and an international lecturer on dental technology and techniques. Dr. Coleman is a Fellow of the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics and the past president and member of the Board of Directors for the Houston Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is affiliated with several prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
