More About Peter E. Ciampi, DDS, MAGD

Peter E. Ciampi, DDS, MAGD, received his bachelor's degree from Franklin & Marshall College before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Ciampi completed a general practice residency at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, later serving with the United States Navy Dental Corps at the U.S. Naval Academy and on the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk. After completing his naval service, Dr. Ciampi continued his postgraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles Center for Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Ciampi remains dedicated to the pursuit of dental training. He has accumulated more than 1,200 hours of continuing education, completing courses at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the Pankey Institute in Miami, Florida.

In addition to running a successful dental practice, Dr. Ciampi devotes a great deal of his time to the education of future dental professionals. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and is a forensic dental consultant with the office of the New York City chief medical examiner. He is a sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry.
