Dr. Earle operates a full-service dental practice and provides a wide array of cosmetic services, including teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, dental implants, crowns, bridges and Invisalign clear teeth aligners. In addition to cosmetic dentistry, he offers general dentistry services as well as amalgam filling replacement, neuromuscular dentistry and treatment for TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorder.
Dr. Earle's office is equipped with the latest dental technology. Using an intraoral camera, he is able to take close-up photos of each patient's teeth and gums and display the images on TV monitors. This process allows patients to see their own dental conditions and more easily understand the need for any recommended treatment. Dr. Earle also offers cosmetic imaging – by changing and enhancing a digital photo of the patient's smile, he can provide "before" images and projected "after" images for recommended smile-enhancement procedures.
Dr. Earle also utilizes state-of-the-art laser technology in his practice. His DIAGOnet laser detects the early stages of tooth decay, allowing him to save more of the tooth and to supply simpler, shallower fillings. Dr. Earle also uses lasers to remove diseased or inflamed mouth tissue and vaporize bacterial tissue toxins. Laser technology provides a gentle alternative to traditional surgery for many procedures and can be used to treat gum disease, correct oral abnormalities, shape gums for smile enhancement, assist in biopsies and detect herpes lesions and canker sores. Dr. Earle is committed to making each patient's dental-care treatment experience as relaxing as possible. To this end, he offers sedation dentistry, in which the patient is put into a state of deep relaxation prior to treatment.

More About Stephen B. Earle, DDS
Stephen B. Earle, DDS, earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in North Carolina and his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia. After graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served at the Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, near Irvine, California. Having decided to remain in California after his military service, he established his private practice in 1979. Dr. Earle is affiliated with numerous professional organizations, including the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the San Diego County Dental Society.
