Dr. Greenhalgh personally meets with all of his patients to learn about their goals and needs, and suggest the most suitable treatments. He thoroughly explains all of the proposed procedures, including a discussion of their benefits and possible complications. His goal is to provide his patients with clear, complete information so that they can make informed, confident decisions regarding their treatment.
Dr. Greenhalgh understands that some patients feel apprehensive about dental procedures, which is why he strives to create a soothing, comfortable environment. For patients who experience high levels of dental anxiety, he offers the option of oral conscious sedation. Taken in the form of a small pill prior to the dental treatment, this sedation method allows patients to enter a state of deep relaxation and greatly reduces their discomfort.
Dr. Greenhalgh's training and experience allow him to offer his patients a variety of cosmetic, restorative and general dentistry treatments. To improve the appearance of misshapen, cracked or crooked teeth, he provides patients with beautiful porcelain veneers. Scott Greenhalgh, DDS, received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. He completed his residency at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Greenhalgh currently serves as a dental hygiene instructor at the University of Colorado and as a cosmetic dentistry instructor at the Saint Joseph Hospital Dental Program. He maintains active memberships with several highly regarded professional associations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association and the Denver Academy of Restorative Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Greenhalgh volunteers for the Give Back A Smile program, which provides free restorative dental services to victims of domestic violence.
