More About Dr. Lerch

N. Summer Lerch, DDS, FAGD, AAACD, earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington Dental School, where she was awarded the prestigious Team Dentistry award upon graduation. Dr. Lerch also completed the two-year Family Dentistry Residency program at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She is a former President and current Board Member of the New England Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is also an examiner and consultant for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). In addition, Dr. Lerch is a Pierre Fouchard Fellow, a recognition that honors her community spirit. She is actively involved in various community projects. Dr. Lerch is the co-founder of Hope in a Smile — a charitable organization that helps survivors of domestic violence receive reconstructive dental treatments, and she regularly donates her time and skill to the AACD's Give Back a Smile program.
