More About Lynn Locklear, DDS

Lynn Locklear, DDS, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. She is a Fellow of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and has completed more than 500 hours of postgraduate training in cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry and the treatment of cranial pain since 2002 (Continuing education requirements are 20 hours every two years). She has also completed a mini-residency in Orthopedic Dentistry and Sleep Studies with Dr. Steven Olmos in Los Angeles. Dr. Locklear enjoys sharing her dental knowledge, and she frequently mentors dentists in training and gives lectures pertaining to her field. Dr. Locklear is affiliated with several prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the National Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Association for Orthodontics and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and was honored as Black Enterprise Magazine's 2006 Small Business Innovator of the Year.
