More About the Dentists at Sunset Dental Cancun

Marisela Mourgue, DDS, is a skillful dental surgeon who is trained in several subspecialties, including periodontics, cosmetic dentistry and implantology. She obtained her dental degree at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico, during which time she worked in the local community, providing dental care to the less fortunate. Dr. Mourgue then traveled to France, where she completed training in implantology at the Zimmer Institute in Paris. She then continued her education at the University of Montepellier in France. Upon returning to Cancun, Dr. Mourgue and her family started Sunset Dental Cancun.

Gilberto Alvarez, DDS, is a gifted dental surgeon who has been in the field for more than 10 years. He is a recognized authority in endodontics and has published a number of articles covering a range of topics pertaining to this subspecialty. Dr. Alvarez obtained his dental degree at the Universidad Michoacána de San Nicolas de Hidalgo in Mexico. He continued his education in endodontics at the Universidad De La Salle Bajío in Mexico. Dr. Alvarez is certified by the Endodontic Mexican Counsel. He is affiliated with a number of professional associations.

Antonio Cook Caballero, DDS, specializes in maxillofacial surgery, including implantology and sinus elevation surgery. He received his dental degree from the Universidad Autonoma Mexico and has since completed several advanced training courses in the field of oral surgery and implantology. An acclaimed Cancun maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Caballero is known for providing unsurpassed care and results. He is affiliated with several professional organizations, including Ciruguia Oral maxilofacil e implantologia the Consejo Latinoamericano de cirugia oral as well as the Asociacion iberoamericana de implantologia.
