Ramin Tabib, DDS, is a talented cosmetic dentist, committed to mastering the latest dental innovations. He received his doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) through Columbia University, College of Dental Surgery. He trained in the diagnosis and placement of dental implants at the prestigious Misch Implant Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and through New York University's Implantology program. He additionally achieved Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, an honor held by few dentists worldwide.
Drs. Tabib and Mello combine the skillful execution of cutting-edge cosmetic dentistry procedures and the use of state-of-the-art equipment to successfully integrate esthetics as a part of total dental health. From Zoom-laser teeth bleaching, dental implants, cosmetic enamel contouring, and porcelain veneers, to crowns, dental implants, and total mouth reconstruction, Drs. Tabib and Mello are adept with an array of advances in dental science.
Dr. Tabib further honed his expertise in facially generated treatment planning and occlusion through the Seattle Institute Advanced Dental Studies program. Elisa Mello, DDS, is an extensively trained dentist, renowned for her expertise in oral surgery, dental trauma and emergencies, pain control and anesthesia, and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Mello earned her doctorate in dental surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry, where she was honored with membership to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society that recognizes academic and clinical excellence in dentistry.

featured in numerous publications.
Dr. Mello entered into practice in New York, while continuing to study at Flushing Hospital, where she received extensive training in periodontics and orthodontics. Additional training in periodontal therapy and periodontal plastic surgery was received through the Periodontal Institute of Seattle. She then completed a two-year course in orthodontics at the Light Force Orthodontic Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In addition to maintaining practice at NYC Smile Design, Dr. Mello is a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University College of Dentistry, International General Dentistry Program. Also, she is a participating provider in the American Association of Women Dentist's program for battered women, "Smiles for Success," helping to build confidence in these women as they begin anew.
Dr. Mello is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and First District Dental Society.
