More about Rohinton J. Patel, DMD
Rohinton J. Patel, DMD, earned his undergraduate degree from California State University, East Bay, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He completed a competitive internship program through Harvard University and an externship at the Lynn Community Health Center in Lynn, Massachusetts. Dr. Patel routinely attends continuing education courses at renowned institutions such as the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and has completed advanced programs in several disciplines, including Invisalign and Oral Conscious Sedation Anesthesiology. In addition to running a successful private practice, Dr. Patel devotes a great deal of time to the education of dental students. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Boston University School of Dental Medicine (BUSDM), and a former researcher at BUSDM, Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology and California State University, East Bay. Dr. Patel also donates time to the Special Olympics' Special Smiles Program, providing oral cancer screenings for participants.
Dr. Patel is affiliated with a number of prestigious medical organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Hawaii Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Honolulu Dental Society.
