Dr. Shannon and his well-trained staff have worked together since 2000. Using technology, including intra-oral cameras, computerized imaging and digital radiography, Dr. Shannon and his staff provide personalized care in a relaxed, stress-free environment.

Over the course of his lengthy career, Dr. Shannon has placed more than 20,000 indirect esthetic restorations, including porcelain veneers, crowns, bridges and implants. He loves performing full mouth rehabilitations, and offers teeth whitening, bonding and tooth contouring procedures.

Dr. Shannon stresses the importance of preventative dentistry. To help his patients prevent dental problems, he provides them with a four-step guide to proper oral hygiene. As well, Dr. Shannon uses the Velscope as part of his Standard of Care to make sure that any changes in the mouth tissue can be discovered early on.

More About Andrew Shannon, DDS

Andrew Shannon, DDS, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University School of Dentistry in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dr. Shannon's articles are frequently published in leading dentistry publications, and he is routinely invited to lecture throughout North America on the subject of esthetic restorative dentistry. He has served as a part-time clinical instructor in esthetic restorative dentistry at several prestigious institutions, including the Baylor College of Dentistry, the University of Kentucky and New York University. He is the founder of the western Canadian chapter of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists and is affiliated with the Canadian Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
