He uses the advanced Cadent iTero digital impression system to produce precise impressions for crowns, bridges and veneers, which eliminates the need for traditional impression materials. In addition, Dr. Tau provides single-tooth anesthesia (STA), which numbs only the tooth that needs treatment. With digital imaging and computer smile simulation, Dr. Tau is able to create a customized smile makeover plan that addresses the unique aesthetic needs of each patient. Intraoral cameras, digital radiography, decay-detecting laser scanner and digital shade matching are also available at Dr. Tau's office.

More About Leonard F. Tau, DMD
Leonard F. Tau, DMD, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at Tulane University in New Orleans. He later received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Somerdale. He is a member of several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the International Team for Implantology, the Eastern Dental Society, the Main Line Dental Study Club, the Philadelphia County Dental Society and the Northeast Philadelphia Dental Implant Study Club.
