Parsa T. Zadeh, DDS, FAGD, FICOI, is a highly skilled cosmetic dentist who has more than 25 years of both clinical and teaching experience. Committed to ongoing education, Dr. Zadeh has completed four times the amount of continuing dental education courses required by the state of California. He is a Fellow of both the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Academy of General Dentistry, a status that recognizes excellent surgical skills in the fields of implant and general dentistry. In addition, Dr. Zadeh is certified by the Dental Board of California in intravenous sedation, also known as sleep dentistry, an advanced technique that requires specialized training and is used to put patients at ease during their dental visits. In recognition of his outstanding experience and expertise, Dr. Zadeh was named one of "America's Top Dentists" by the Consumers' Research Council of America.

Dr. Zadeh performs a wide range of advanced cosmetic dentistry procedures, including dental implants, fixed bridges, removable bridges, in-office laser teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, crowns and full mouth restorations. He also specializes in treating patients who are self-conscious about their gummy smile — a condition in which an excessive amount of gum tissue covers a large portion of the front teeth. He coined the term gum-lift over 15 years ago and is considered a pioneer in this procedure. To treat this condition, Dr. Zadeh uses the latest laser technology to remove excess gum and bone tissue and reposition the gum line. For best results, Dr. Zadeh may also remove some tissue located under the upper lip as part of a completegummy smile treatment.

Dr. Zadeh's office is the very first, totally paperless dental office (October 1997). It is a technologically advanced facility with a variety of digital cameras and the latest software, which allow patients to see a computer simulation of their expected results. In addition, Dr. Zadeh utilizes a variety of other leading-edge dental technologies, including three-dimensional cone beam digital X-rays, a Xenon light surgical microscope, a Waterlase TM cavity preparation laser, a Diode soft tissue laser and a cavity detection laser. In fact, Dr. Zadeh was one of the first practicing dentists in Southern California to install a 3-D cone beam tomography system in his office. He also established an in-office laboratory that allows him to fabricate dental veneers, crowns and dentures using some of the finest materials in cosmetic dentistry, including porcelain and gold. Dr. Zadeh and his team strive to pamper their patients with spa-like amenities, including purified air, heated blankets, flat-screen televisions, wireless headphones and complimentary refreshments, including fruit juices, cappuccino, café latte and fresh protein shakes.

Parsa T. Zadeh, DDS, FAGD, FICOI, graduated with honors in 1984. He then completed a general practice residency, and an abridged residency in esthetic dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Zadeh is a former Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Human Behavior at the University of Southern California (USC) and Assistant Clinical Professor and lecturer at USC School of Dentistry's Department of Restorative Dentistry. He is a frequent lecturer and has written numerous research articles on a variety of topics in the field of cosmetic dentistry. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Anesthesiology, the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
