Dr. Carpenter serves on the Dental Hygiene Advisory Board at Lamar Institute of Technology, and even teaches part time in the dental hygiene school. Dr. Carpenter is also on a national dental board, serving as a trustee of the American Academy of Dental Practice. Dr. Carpenter was nominated for Texas Dentist of the Year in 2015 by the Academy of General Dentistry.
