Dr. Baird uses VELscope oral cancer screenings, Diagnodent system for the early detection of tooth decay and the Cerec system to create crowns on site so that restorations can be completed in one visit. He is excited about these modern advancements and works tirelessly to master them so that he can provide his patients with attractive, natural-looking cosmetic results.
Dr. Baird offers a wide array of cosmetic and restorative treatments, including porcelain veneers, crowns, implants and bonding. In-office whitening is performed using the Zoom! Chairside Whitening System, which can brighten a patient's smile in about an hour. Dr. Baird works closely with his patients in order to understand their needs. Brian Baird, DMD, received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Baird is a graduate of the Pankey Institute, an organization designed to assist dentists in establishing individualized, relationship-driven practices. To expand his skills and expertise, he attends professional development courses and seminars on a regular basis. Dr. Baird is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is affiliated with the Canadian Dental Association and the Canadian Academy for Esthetic Dentistry.
