Dr. Addleson is one of only 42 dentists worldwide to satisfy the rigorous criteria for both Accreditation and Fellowship within the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He is the founder of The Art of Dentistry, a state-of-the-art dental practice that takes the health and beauty of patients to a new level. Lawrence Addleson, DDS, FAACD (Fellow, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Dr. Addleson has held many top positions within the AACD, including President, Member of the Board of Directors, and twice Chairman of the Board of Governors (now known as the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry). He has been Chairman of the Educational Task Force Committee and the Education and Credentials Committee, as well as a Board Examiner for both Accreditation and Fellowship. He is on the Editorial Review Board of The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, a founder of the Southwest Chapter of the AACD, and a Director and Cosmetic Dental Advisor for the San Diego Advanced Study Group, a Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Addleson's clinical instruction and advisory work are widely requested, and he has presented to dentists worldwide. Some of the topics he has included in lectures and hands-on demonstrations are adhesive dentistry, porcelain, dental materials, and philosophy of patient care.
